Although our Rhinestone Cowboy has been gone for a while, his estate and properties are still making the news. A California recording studio that was officially used by Glen Campbell went to sale this past week, generating more than $300,000 in profit. The problem is Glen’s widow Kimberly is asking in a legal motion that she be reimbursed.
In more Glen Campbell news, there’s word that the estate and film producers are working on a biopic about the singer, a documentary that will detail the incredible rise of a talented singer and guitarist from a small town in Arkansas, to one of the biggest bankable stars in America. You may remember an earlier documentary called ‘Glen Campbell … I’ll Be Me’ released in 2014, but the producers of that project now feel a full-fledged film is possible. Glen struggled in his last few years with Alzheimer’s, passing away on August 8th, 2017, at 81.
