Wikipedia’s Most Edited Pages in 2016

Wikipedia is an amazing resource for those that want to look into something more. The thing you must remember though is that anyone can edit the page. This makes it unique because the information is always be kept updated and stay current. That doesn’t happen on all sites.

Have you ever wondered what pages were edited the most? Well, the list of most edits on Wikipedia from this year is out and the list is pretty entertaining.

The most edited page in 2016 was “Deaths in 2016.” It was a pretty rough year for those that were sick, as we saw many deaths happen. This would help explain the 18,230 edits that happened on this page this year. With just under 9,000 edits, Donald Trump’s page came in second. Rounding out the top three was “List of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign endorsements.”

The pages edited the most were mainly around the election and those involved with it, but some of the non-political pages on the list include “2016 in sports,” “2016 in South Korean music,” “The Life of Pablo” and “Vincent van Gogh” among others.
