When Rock and Roll Met the Law

Dean Stuart Wetter is not famous, but we’re going to mention his recent troubles with the law. Dean was arrested for an alleged assault at a family event. Hey, who can blame him for that? Dean is the husband of Heart’s Ann Wilson, and the incident occurred at a Heart concert when two nephews scuffled with Dean at a tour bus. This is not the first time rock and roll and the law have met.

The soul star Barry White was once arrested for stealing thousands of dollars in Cadillac tires. Jim Morrison was arrested for ‘whipping it out’ on various time, while Ozzy was arrested once for pissing on a sacred San Antonio artifact – drunk, dressed in his wife’s clothes!

Johnny Cash was once arrested for accidentally starting a forest fire, burning over 500 acres of brush and land. He eventually paid $85,000 in fines.

Chuck Berry has been arrested many times, once for transporting a minor across state lines (he and an underage girl drove over a state bridge).

Steve Earl, Sid Vicious, Tupac, John Phillips (Mommas and Poppas) David Crosby, John Lennon and more have had to do a policeman’s benefit as a result of an arrest.
