It’s been a turbulent year for Ariana Grande, and the pop singer is artistically expressing the tumultuous year with the Christmas decorations in her New York apartment.
On Tuesday, December 18th, Grande’s brother, Frankie Grande, shared an Instagram photo of himself sitting in front of a Christmas tree hanging upside down from a ceiling. “Waiting for Santa,” he captioned the photo in a font that was also upside down.
Ariana was later spotted leaving her apartment building where paparazzi were waiting to ask her about the unusual Christmas tree placement. Grnade told a cameraman for TMZ, “Sometimes life be upside-down”.
The singer’s minimalist holiday decorations also include a mantle decorated with garland, black candles, and hanging black stockings.
