According to hotnewhiphop.com, earlier on this month, Nappy Roots member, Fish Scales, was attacked outside of his brewery, Atlantucky, in Atlanta, Georgia. As he was leaving for the day, he was kidnapped, robbed, and shot. Recently 911 audio has been released that may help the case. Documents that were obtained by TMZ Hip Hop revealed that as Fish Scales was leaving the brewery with his friend Britt Robinson. He noticed that Robinson had been outside for awhile, and went to check on his friend. As he went to do this Scales was attacked and ambushed towards the register. While Robinson was still outside he called the police and told them that the suspects had taken his gun and house keys prior to attacking the rapper. Robinson also added that he saw one of the suspects speaking to someone on the phone taking orders from someone in order to locate the money. After the suspects found zero money due to the brewery being cashless, the suspects then drove Scales to his home, attempting to get more funds from him. After scales put up a fight and was tased in the head, he was able to escape the vehicle, running to a house nearby for safety.
After the incident occurred, Scales recalled dealing with an irate employee and told cops that it felt as if one of the robbers was using a fake voice in an attempt to throw him off. For the time being, the Atlanta Police are still in search of those responsible for the crime.
