Twister Sister’s Dee Snider Dropping New LP

Twisted Sister lead singer and frontman Dee Snider is going big time solo, hoping to make headlines by himself. He’s about to release his new LP ‘For the Love of Metal,’ details of the drop date have yet to be announced. Here are our top three Dee Snider (Twisted Sister) tunes…

“We’re Not Gonna Take It” came from their ‘Stay Hungry’ album, leaning heavily on Glam and Punk to get that certain sound. The song has been used by Hollywood for TV and film.

“I Wanna Rock” is also from the ‘Stay Hungry’ LP, released in 1984, hitting the charts and peaking at 17th in the MVT ‘Greatest Rock Songs of All Time. Ironically, most fans remember its use in the National Lampoon ‘Animal House’ film.

“You Can’t Stop Rock n Roll” is from the self-titled second album from the group, hitting the charts in 1983. The song and album solidified the band’s credentials with the heavy metal base.
