Over the weekend the neighborhood theaters ticket offices were busy with ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ delivered a $150 million-plus opening weekend, while ‘Incredibles 2’ ($375 million worldwide) ‘Ocean’s 8,’ ‘Tag,’ ‘Deadpool 2’, ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story,’ Hereditary,’ ‘Superfly,’ ‘Avengers: Infinity War,’ and ‘Won’t You Be My Neighbor?’ fill in in the top 10 spots in weekend movie revenues.
The NBC program ‘Timeless’ has been canceled after its two-season run, with talks for a movie would be the finale for fans underway. ‘Timeless’ was canceled after its 1st season by NBC but quickly brought back after a new financial arraignment between Sony and Universal Television.
You’ll be interested to learn that the embattled ‘Roseanne’ series that was abruptly canceled will be back under a new name under the guise of a spinoff called ‘The Conners’ with the entire Roseanne cast (without ‘what’s her name’) will be back in the ABC Fall Lineup.
