Thursday Basketball: Phoenix Suns Now Hold Best Record, 30-8

Four NBA games took place on Thursday night. In the first game, the New York Knicks won their second game in a row, as they defeated the Boston Celtics, 108-105. Knicks shooting guard Evan Fournier had 41 points while RJ Barrett made a buzzer-beating three to win the game. 

The Memphis Grizzlies annihilated the Detroit Pistons, 118-88. Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant scored 22 points and had six assists, as the Grizzlies won their seventh straight game. 

The Golden State Warriors lost their second consecutive game, 101-96, against the New Orleans Pelicans. Shooting forward Brandon Ingram was a star for the Pelicans last night, as he had 32 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists. He led the team in all three categories. 

Finally, the Phoenix Suns now have the best record in the NBA at 30-8 after they defeated the Los Angeles Clippers, 106-89. The Suns are the most well-rounded team in basketball, as their scoring and defense are extremely balanced, leading them to be the first team to 30 wins this season.
