When Rihanna released who would be joining her on the ANTI tour, everyone was excited about The Weeknd coming with her. Well, this will no longer be the case as he has recently had to drop out of this commitment. The Weeknd has cited a need to work on his own music as the reason why. He has a need to work with future projects.
The Weeknd’s contributions to the tour were the two months of time Rihanna would be spending in Europe, but no more. He was set to join her on June 11 in Amsterdam.
Rihanna is currently being joined by Travis Scott on the United States portion of the tour.
