In the 60s there were two musical groups that had their moment in the sun for a brief period of time with the songs “Precious and Few,” (The band ‘Climax’) and “Time Won’t Let Me” (the band ‘The Outsiders’). Both were catchy contributions to the fabric of our times back then. Both were sung by a talented lead singer by the name of Sonny Geraci.
Sadly, Sonny Geraci died a week ago after a long battle with a brain aneurysm four years earlier. Sonny was 67.
Joey Powers, remembered for his 1964 hit “Midnight Mary,” recently passed away in Washington, Pennsylvania at 82, while Bobby Freeman, writer and singer of the classic “Do You Wanna Dance,” died in January at the age of 76.
