Oprah and the Donald have been friends and mutual admirers for decades, but the current political environment has changed that a bit. You may remember that Oprah had been considering a run for the White House in 2020 a while ago, with Donald weighing in. Oprah backed off that dream a few weeks later, telling the press that it’s not something that she would give further consideration.
Or has she?
Oprah has confessed that there is one thing that would change her mind about being a Presidential candidate in 2010; here’s the backstory… Oprah says she’s recently gone into deep prayer and reflection, and if God were to tell her to run, if she heard that voice of command, she would be on her way to the campaign.
Prayer and the belief in spiritual guidance are as real as a newborn baby; think of the Journey Oprah as traveled. Oprah was born middle class, growing into one of the most influential and wealthiest people (let alone woman) in the world. Professionally, Oprah is busy with the world premiere of her new movie with co-star Reese Witherspoon ‘A Wrinkle in Time.’ We will keep you updated on Oprah and her possible political career.
