For the last few weeks, Finding Dory has been the hottest movie at the box office, but this past weekend we saw a new top movie, The Secret Life of Pets. This movie is another illuminated flick, which everyone ate up for a tune of just over $103 million!
This movie cost $75 million to make and has already topped that number in one weekend! The Secret Life of Pets is a hilariously awesome movie about what owner’s pets do while they’re away at work. How did we not think of this story line?!
Finding Dory still had a decent weekend, bringing in $20.4 million bringing its total to $422.6 million since it was release. Another new release this past weekend was “Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates.” The movie starring Zac Efron, Anna Kendrick, Adam DeVine and Aubrey Plaza brought in just under $17 million in its opening weekend.
