The NBA playoffs are all set as the play-in tournament games start tonight.
In the East, the 8th seed Cleveland Cavaliers and the 7th seed Brooklyn Nets face off in the play-in tournament. The winner moves on to the playoffs to face one of the top seeds in the East, while the losing team will face the winner of the Wednesday play-in game.
The 10th seed Charlotte Hornets will face the 9th seed Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night. The winner of that game will face the losing team between the Cavaliers and the Nets. Only two teams will officially make it into the playoffs.
Similarly, the West play-in tournament kicks off tonight with the 7th seed Minnesota Timberwolves hosting the 8th seed Los Angeles Clippers. The winner of that game will automatically move into the playoff bracket. The losing team will face either the 9th seed New Orleans Pelicans or the 10th seed San Antonio Spurs. The Spurs and Pelicans tip-off on Wednesday night with both teams looking to sneak into an already crowded playoff picture.
