According to consequence.net, The Mars Volta have returned with a new self-titled album, which is the band’s first full length album in ten years. Cedric Bixler-Zavala and Omar Rodríguez-López departed from The Mars Volta after the release of 2012’s Noctourniquet before their return this year with singles “Blacklight Shine” and “Graveyard Love.” Both of the tracks are also on the self titled album, The Mars Volta, an album that features electronic melodies. On September 22nd, the band will start a North American Tour to support their comeback, through October.
