A guitar once owned by Bob Dylan was recently auctioned off to the tune of $400,000. Heritage Auctions in Dallas held the auction, the winning bidder remains anonymous.

Time flies when you’re having fun; the Monkees “Daydream Believer” celebrates it’s 50th birthday this month. Now we hear that former Monkees member Michael Nesmith is putting his band back together, his ‘First National Band’ which will begin a brief tour in California next year.

Chuck Berry’s estate and label will be releasing ‘The Great Twenty-Eight’ a collection of a 5 box set, only 500 copies will be in production. It will be released on December 15th.

Van Morrison is about to release his 38th studio album called ‘Versatile,’ just months after his earlier release of the album ‘Roll With the Punches.’
