It’s no secret that John Lennon of the Beatles and Cilla Black were romantically involved in the early 60s. In fact, John (and Paul) wrote and recorded a song called “It’s For You” for Cilla, pressing it on the Dick James Label. 50 years have come and gone; the lost artifact was found last year and Cilla’s nephew has sold the rare antiquity for thousands of pounds in a recent auction.
Included in the recent 25th Beatles Memorabilia Auction was a part of a large collection of sheet music, guitars and memorabilia that were once owned by the Beatles; much of the collection represents the fab four well before international fame and fortune. In 2015, Ringo held a charitable auction, offering his original “White Album’ kit and assorted jewelry in an auction that generated millions of dollars.
