The Few Rockers Inside the Top 100

This week’s Artist 100 chart from Billboard has been released and there are just not many rockers on it as we’d like to see. There’s nothing wrong with the chart’s numbers logistically, but more the fact that rock music has hit a lull per say. Let’s take a look at all of the rock bands on the chart…

Imagine Dragons leads the way at the number three position. This should come as no surprise as we consistently talk about this band who has been red-hot as of the past year.

Portugal. The Man has a huge hit out in “Feel It Still” so it should come as no surprise that this band is our next highest ranked rock band on the chart. They fell two spots this week, landing at number 26.

It wasn’t that long ago that Twenty One Pilots was the hottest thing out there. They’re still doing great and people still love them, which is why we see them at 63 this week. They are followed by Metallica, who has been rocking out for ages!

The final rock band on the chart is Linkin Park (87), who just recently announced a tribute concert for their recently passed front man, Chester Bennington.
