The Box Office Numbers, Luke Skywalker, and the Obama’s

The weekend box office continues to be the revenue playground for the blockbuster ‘Black Panther’ as it generated another number one earnings star, its fourth week in a row since it opened. The film has not generated over $1 billion in box office revenues, an amazing feat. ‘A Wrinkle in Time’ opened with rave reviews and box office domination, earning over $35 million in its opening weekend. ‘The Strangers: Prey at Night, ran to third place in its debut weekend, with Red Sparrow and Game Night finishing the top five this weekend.

‘The Hurricane Heist,’ ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle,’ ‘Gringo,’ ‘The Greatest Showman’ and ‘The Shape of Water’ rounded out the top 10 this past weekend.

Mark Hamill received his Hollywood Walk of Fame Star a few days ago, he was thrilled to be honored, and Former President Barack Obama and wife Michelle have signed a lucrative Netflix deal to produce a series of shows for the streaming provider. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Scott Baio’s wife Renee, diagnosed with microvascular brain disease a few days ago, going public this week.
