The weekend box office continues to be the revenue playground for the blockbuster ‘Black Panther’ as it generated another number one earnings star, its fourth week in a row since it opened. The film has not generated over $1 billion in box office revenues, an amazing feat. ‘A Wrinkle in Time’ opened with rave reviews and box office domination, earning over $35 million in its opening weekend. ‘The Strangers: Prey at Night, ran to third place in its debut weekend, with Red Sparrow and Game Night finishing the top five this weekend.
‘The Hurricane Heist,’ ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle,’ ‘Gringo,’ ‘The Greatest Showman’ and ‘The Shape of Water’ rounded out the top 10 this past weekend.
Mark Hamill received his Hollywood Walk of Fame Star a few days ago, he was thrilled to be honored, and Former President Barack Obama and wife Michelle have signed a lucrative Netflix deal to produce a series of shows for the streaming provider.
