Many years ago people loved TLC, Destiny’s Child and Salt-N-Pepa, but these days all-female bands aren’t as a plenty. The two of the biggest in the music industry these days are obvious. Women keeping it real in music these days are Fifth Harmony and Little Mix. These two have done huge things in 2016 and look to do even more in 2017.
Fifth Harmony did their thing with a new album and multiple big hits. Their biggest hit was “Work From Home” though and would take the reign as the best selling single of this past year by an all-female group.
Little Mix’s album, “Glory Days,” was released in mid-November and would still take the title as best selling album from a group consisting of only females. It dominated in the UK, charting at number one there and would peak at number 25 in the US.
