Earlier in March of this year, The Texas Jazz Festival of 2021 took place after it was postponed from October of last year. The amount of support shown for the event in March was enough for the The Texas Jazz Festival’s Board of directors to continue to hold the official 2022 festival. A statement rom organizers reads, “The Texas Jazz Festival Board of Directors have decided to present the public with a 2nd Jazz Festival event this year, The 61st Annual Texas Jazz Festival! As always our goal is to bring live music, good food, local shopping and fun to the coastal bend at NO cost to the public,”. The festival always draws in a crowd and will be taking place from October 14th to the 16th at Heritage Park which can hold over 75,000 people.
