Texas A&M Coach Sends Tweets That Causes Issues

Scouts, talent evaluators, and coaches everywhere always preach one thing about social media – don’t do it! The Internet somehow doesn’t miss a thing and it’s tweets and posts about stupid stuff that can really impact your livelihood. Well, one Texas A&M coach didn’t take this advice and promptly inserted his foot into his mouth this week. Aaron Moorehead is the receiver coach for the Aggies and tweeted up such a storm that it caused issues with multiple recruits.

Moorehead tweeted about a decommitment in what he thought was a sneaky fashion, but people put two and two together and called him out on it. He would then go on to say he and his staff didn’t want players that didn’t want to face adversity and had no accountability or loyalty towards others. These multiple posts caused multiple players to rethink their decision and ultimately it’s this kind of thing that could cost him his job.

Only time will tell if Aaron Moorehead will stay have a job at Texas A&M by the end of the weekend, but we can almost guarantee he will think twice before getting on social media next time.
