We’ve taken you to part one of great sports and we hope you’re ready for more. These songs certainly get us going and motivated to play. Here’s part two of “Super Sports Songs.”
“Thunderstruck” by AC/DC is a wonderful song that just sounds right. It’s also a drinking game for the young, but that’s for another day.
“We Will Rock You” is the Queen sports anthem that says it all in the hook.
“Rock and Roll part II” by Gary Glitter is the song that has no words with the exception of the shouted ‘Hey” – you would know it when you heard it.
“The Final Countdown” by Europe is experiencing a comeback due to its use in the recent GEICO commercial, but has always been a big hit for professional sports teams.
“Don’t Stop Believing” is the Journey song that is the ultimate sport song used by every sports team in every venue in every state in the union.
