It’s Summertime, which means you will be spending quite a bit more of your free time relaxing outside in the backyard, maybe grilling, probably inviting a few friends over… and then the afternoon wind kicks up, and suddenly your tablecloth turns into a whirling dervish and lifts every carefully placed plate, cup, utensil and napkin up, up, and away.
So, how do you keep your tablecloth from blowing away, even in strong winds?
Some people use duct tape or wrap bungee cords around the tabletop, which is just plain ugly. Then there are clips that secure the tablecloth to the table, but those don’t always fit, and they can break and fall off.
Here’s a surefire method that will work on any table and any tablecloth: use tarp clips and small bungee cords to secure the tablecloth under the table.
It works, and the best part is that no one can see the mechanism that secures the tablecloth. It’s like magic!
And, no matter how much the wind blows, your tablecloth will stay put!
