One of Motown’s brightest stars Stevie Wonder has been busy this year, joining Lionel Richie and John Legend for this year’s ‘House Full of Toys’ benefit concert held in early December in Los Angeles.
The benefit concert annually raises money for the ‘We Are You’ Foundation, a charity that provides assistance to typically poor or homeless children and families. The initial concert was in 1996.
Here are our top three Stevie Wonder Christmas Songs..
“What Christmas Means to Me” was a blistering up-tempo song that rocked the house in 1967. “Silver Bells” is Stevie’s Christmas stocking stuffer, showing off his soft side. Finally, you have to appreciate “Ave Maria,” his deeply religious tune that harkens back to Stevie’s early Christmas mornings in Bay City Michigan.
