There may not have been a more successful or influential band than Journey in the 80s. The group was lead by Bay area Steve Perry, a singe with charisma and talent. Steve left the group to pursue a solo career, hitting the charts with “Oh Sherry” and more. He’s been quiet until now, as he’s about to release a new LP called ‘Traces’ due to drop in early October.
His 1st single/video from the upcoming album “No Erasin” has been released here and it’s terrific. Perhaps the single reason for his comeback is the courage and strength found in Kellie, a woman who captured his heart and passed way due to breast cancer in 2012. He floundered for a fee years before realizing that she would have wanted him to get back to what he loves to do most, write and sing. Steve’s ‘Traces’ is scheduled to be released October 5th.
