Steph Curry the NBA’s First Unanimous MVP

Steph Curry was named the MVP for the 2015-2016 season and while that is big news, the fact that he was the first unanimous MVP makes it huge news! Imagine that. The former Davidson player and three-star Rivals recruit has suddenly become the best player in the game and won himself a second straight MVP award.

This award announcement came Tuesday, the day after Curry’s amazing 40-point performance that was capped off by a 17-point overtime, the most ever by a single player in NBA history.

Steph Curry is more than deserving of this award, but the unanimous nature of it is surprising. Kawhi Leonard and Lebron James finished second and third in the MVP race.
