Steph Curry Breaks Three-Pointer Record, More Tuesday Wins

Tuesday night will be remembered as a record-breaking evening for Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry.

In the process of defeating the New York Knicks, 105-96, Curry made his 2,974th three-pointer, as he became the all-time leader in three-point shots in NBA history. Retired shooting guard Ray Allen previously held the record for most three-point shots. It took Allen 1,300 career games to obtain the record, while Curry only needed 789 games.

In other basketball news, the Brooklyn Nets narrowly defeated the Toronto Raptors in overtime, 131-129. Another tightly-contested overtime game was won by the Phoenix Suns, 111-107, over the Portland Trailblazers.
