Steelers With a Narrow Win, Grizzlies Defeat Timberwolves in Close Game

On Monday Night Football, the Pittsburgh Steelers escaped with a narrow win over the Chicago Bears, 29-27. The Steelers were successful in the passing and running game, as they amounted to three total touchdowns. While the Bears struggled offensively throughout the first three quarters, their 21 points in the fourth quarter created many problems for the Steelers. A walk-off field goal by Chris Boswell secured the victory for Pittsburgh.

In basketball news, the Chicago Bulls handily defeated the Brooklyn Nets, 118-95. The New York Knicks continue their hot start, as they defeated the Eastern Conference powerhouse Philadelphia 76ers, 103-96. However, the most exciting game on Monday was between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Memphis Grizzlies. Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns made a last-second three-pointer to send the game into overtime, but the Timberwolves let the game slip away easily as the Grizzlies won, 125-118.
