“Stay Tuned” Media Special Stars at Rock and Roll Hall of Fame This Month

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is in Cleveland, Ohio, not New York, Detroit or Los Angeles. This month one of the exhibits driving ticket sales is the exhibit called “Stay Tuned” a series of artifacts that demonstrate the power of the media in the history of rock and roll.

The “Stay Tuned” exhibit features the actual New York City Stage designs seen when the Beatles took the stage during their performances on the Ed Sullivan Show. If you’re a Michael Jackson fan, you’ll see the outfits worn by the Jackson 5 when they visited the Hollywood Palace. Paul Shaffer’s Kurzweil 250 keyboard from the David Lettermen show is on display, as is the actual acoustic guitar played by Eric Clapton on MTV Unplugged.

Monkee fans will remember the late Davy Jones and the jacket he once wore on his cameo with the ‘The Brady Bunch.’ Finally, if you can remember the MTV Tom Petty “Don’t Come Around Here No More” video you’ll enjoy the oversized hat worn by Tom in the song and video. Be sure to visit the hallowed grounds of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, and click ‘Stay Tuned’ for more information
