At just 21 years old, Sombr has already built a résumé that many artists spend decades chasing. The singer-songwriter has emerged as one of music’s fastest-rising stars, earning widespread recognition for his songwriting, live performances and ability to produce much of his own material.
His rapid ascent has drawn admiration from across the industry, including Taylor Swift, who has repeatedly praised both his songwriting and artistic independence. Her endorsements have become some of the most talked-about moments of Sombr’s young career, reinforcing his growing reputation as one of the most promising new voices in pop and alternative music.
Following a breakout 2025, Sombr is preparing to release his sophomore album later this year. The project has already generated momentum through the singles “Homewrecker,” “Potential” and “My Body Isn’t Ready,” with “Homewrecker” continuing to climb the Billboard Hot 100.

Festival audiences also embraced the rising artist. During his Coachella debut, Sombr delivered a standout set that included a surprise appearance by Billy Corgan for a performance of The Smashing Pumpkins classic “1979,” adding another memorable chapter to his remarkable year.
He closed out the run by collecting three American Music Awards, tying for the night’s highest total and further establishing himself as one of the most successful young artists of his generation.
