The Junos are occurring April 3 in Calgary, Alberta, and many big Canadian stars will be at the event. This award show is commonly compared to the Grammys in America, so this is a very huge deal in the Canadian music industry.
One star performer who is having a huge deal of success lately is Shawn Mendes. He’s up for four awards by the time April rolls around, and we think he has a good shot at taking some hardware home.
The list of awards Mendes is up for includes the following: Juno Fan’s Choice Award, Album of the Year, Artist of the Year, and the Pop Album of the Year.
The Weeknd leads the nominees with seven nominations while Justin Bieber had five nominations.
