Selena Gomez posted to Instagram on Monday, March 13th, in order to share a selfie with no makeup on along with the caption, “Violet Chemistry,” the name of a track title from Cyrus’ eighth studio album, Endless Summer Vacation.
Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus have gotten along for years, with both of their careers being started at Disney Channel, and Gomez even having a recurring role as Mikayla on Miley’s show Hannah Montana. Gomez also starred in Wizards of Waverly Place for Disney.
When Cyrus first announced the album back in January, with a photo of herself in a black unitard, sunglasses and heels, while swinging from a trapeze bar with a blue background. Gomez at the time commented, “Damn.”
Fans wanting to experience Miley’s new album live can do so by watching Miley’s Backyard Sessions concert special that celebrated the release and the 15th anniversary of her song “The Climb,” on Disney +.
