Samantha Bee’s “Full Frontal” will spend an hour of her show in March to raise awareness for those still suffering from the hurricane in 2017 that struck Puerto Rico. She will work out the details to actually visit the island later in the year.
Samantha was born in Toronto, Canada in 1969, and like most struggling actors waited on tables as a waitress in between jobs, hoping for her big break. Her real exposure came in her role as a special correspondent on the wildly popular the John Stewart ‘Daily Show’ in the early 2000s, finding an audience for her dry wit and satire. Samantha left the ‘Daily Show’ after 12 years in 2015, kicking off her ‘Full Frontal with Samantha Bee’ program which made its debut in February of 2016.
Samantha is the mother of three children and currently holds both American and Canadian citizenships.
