‘Confessin’ the Blues’ a new album could be from blues stars Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, or Joe Bonamassa, but it’s not. The upcoming LP ‘Confessin’ the Blues’ is from the Rolling Stones, and it rocks. The project features covers from the best blues tunes ever recorded and covers over 40 songs in all. The Stones present their version of great songs from Robert Johnson, Little Walter, Buddy Guy, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Howlin’ Wolf, John Lee Hooker, and Muddy Waters.
‘Confessin’ the Blues’ will drop the second week of November, available in vinyl, CD, and online from streaming platforms. The album cover artwork is an original from Stones member Ronnie Wood, and a portion of the revenues from the sales of this LP will go directly to the Willie Dixon’s Blues Heaven Foundation.
