Ringo Starr‘s First NFT Collection Was Sold For Over $100,000 Total

According to Everett Post, Julian’s Auctions an internet based auction company, sold Ringo Starr’s first NFT collection on Monday, June 13th for a staggering amount. “Ringo Starr NFT Collection — The Creative Mind of a Beatle” included a total of 20 different NFTs that were based upon works of art that the Beatles drummer created himself. Each NFT package included an animated digital version of a Starr piece of art and a 25 by 25 inch canvas print of the same artwork, signed by Ringo. Everyone that purchased an NFT package received access to a virtual art gallery of Ringo’s art which they named RingoLand. The winning bids for the collections ranged anywhere from five to ten thousand dollars for each package, accumulating a grand total of $127,360.  A portion of the money that came in for the NFTs will be donated to Ringo’s Lotus Foundation.
