Record Store Day is Tomorrow

Record Store Day is tomorrow April 21st, nationwide, a day set aside to celebrate the local record store owner and the memory of running down to your neighborhood little record store to buy a single.

The day is also designed to feature special releases that are primarily vinyl from today’s artists or promote reissues of classic albums. The net result of Record Store Day is supporting local business owners, getting people excited again about the music industry.

Eric Church has an offering called ’61 Days in Church’ that details eight cover songs he did live during last year’s tour, ‘At Folsom Prison: 50th Anniversary’ from Johnny Cash, Charlie Daniels and his ‘Memories, Memoirs & Miles: Songs Of A Lifetime,’ ‘Heart Break’ from Lady Antebellum, Bobby Bares ‘Things Change,’ and a classic Bobbie Gentry release from her ‘Live at the BBC;’ days.

Taylor Swift has an assortment of EPs, reissues and more. Don’t forget, Record Store Day is April 21st at a local store near you.
