Over the weekend we saw many big things happen like the NBA playoffs continue on and the NFL Draft. It’s time we take a look back at what you missed if you had to finish off your honey-do list or go on vacation…
In the NBA playoffs, every first round series is over with the Cavs, Hawks, Raptors, Heat, Warriors, Spurs, Thunder, and Trail Blazers winning in the first round. The big matchups to watch as the week progress include the Cavs and Hawks (rematch of last year’s ECF) and the Spurs against the Thunder. This should be some fun basketball to watch!
In the NFL Draft we saw many surprises occur in the first round and many more as the draft progressed. Myles Jack and Jaylon Smith both were avoided on Thursday, but heard their names early in the second round. Oddly enough, Jaylon went before Myles did!
Other big things happening this past weekend include a six-game win streak from the Philadelphia Phillies and a five-game win streak from the Detroit Tigers. Both are the longest in their respective leagues.
