Rebel Wilson Continues Her Health Journey Into 2022

Over the weekend, Rebel Wilson shared a stunning progress picture of her health journey after about two years into her commitment to a “Year of Health” back in 2020. Under the photo of her posing in her workout gear, Wilson wrote “Rebel Rising,” with a #2020 hashtag in the caption. 

The 42-year-old actress has lost nearly 80 pounds since the start of her new diet and workout regimen. She has since shared that the motivation behind the journey was a hope to improve her fertility on the advice of a doctor. 

“I’ve been going through a fertility journey for the past two years and I’m hoping at some point I may have a family of my own,” she said in an interview at the end of 2021. “But it’s still a bit unclear whether that’ll be the case. I feel like [it’s] not over yet. It’s kind of an emotional roller coaster. But I’ve been trying my best, so whatever will be, will be.”

Wilson has also said that her focus has not been on reaching a certain weight, but more so on no longer “using food to numb [her] emotions.”

“It’s not about being a certain size or body weight or anything,” Wilson shared\. “It’s just about loving yourself and loving the journey that you’re on. And to me, the women I think are most beautiful are those who step into their own power.”
