Reba McEntire is receiving well deserved love and attention as the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame will honor her as its first recipient of the ‘Career Maker Award’ in the Fall as the annual 48th Anniversary Gala. The award has been created to recognize the artist who has made significant contributions to the industry as a key influence to writers of country music.
Reba has earned the distinction by recording over 80 songs, half of these from writers who were eventually inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. She’s won 16 ACM’s, 10 regular and 6 special ACM honors, holding the record for the most nominations (47) along with 14 American Music Awards, three Billboard, two Blockbuster and two British Country Music awards,
Reba will receive the ‘Career Maker Award’ at the ceremonies October 28th at Nashville’s Music City Center.
