Queens of the Stone Age Return With First New Song in Three Years

Queens of the Stone Age are back with new music, releasing “Easy Street,” their first fresh material in three years and their first since the band’s 2023 album In Times New Roman….

Fans first got a taste of the song during the group’s 2025 Paris Catacombs performances, but it has now received its official studio debut alongside a new music video. The clip, directed by Tony Wolski and Christopher Gruse, features frontman Josh Homme navigating a surreal neighborhood filled with unusual characters before the story ends with an offbeat house party.

Homme said the band intentionally avoided polishing the recording, opting instead to preserve the spontaneity of an early demo. The finished track includes natural tempo changes and imperfect performances that he believes give the song an authenticity that cannot be recreated through studio perfection.

The release continues a busy stretch for the band as Queens of the Stone Age tour overseas with System of a Down. The group is also scheduled to return to North America this September for a run of shows supporting Foo Fighters, giving fans additional opportunities to hear the new song live.
