According to billboard.com, Quavo is going to be starring in an upcoming action thriller film titled, Takeover, along with Titanic actor Billy Zane. The rapper will be playing Guy Miller, a former criminal in Atlanta, Georgia who is trying to get his life back together. The action film will be set in Atlanta and handled by Trioscope and Quality films, the film division of Quality Control. The film is written by Jeb Stuart and directed by Trioscope chief creative officer Greg Jonkajtys, who is quoted in saying, “I’m really excited for this opportunity, especially shooting in my hometown of Atlanta.” Quavo also made a statement about the film saying, “This film is an ideal opportunity to further delve into my craft, and I can’t wait to see how the action plays out in this animated environment.” Quavo has released studio albums as a member of Migos that reached the top five of the Billboard 200. Migos has earned two number one albums on the Billboard 200 and four top 10 hits on the Hot 100.
