The 2017 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Class was announced last month with Journey, Tupac Shakur, Yes, Pearl Jam, ELO, and Joan Baez all being admitted. There was also a special award for musical excellence to Nile Rogers of Chic.
Peter Frampton is not yet in the Hall; here are the most compelling reasons to admit this talented artist…
Peter was a rock guitar God at the age of 15 with Humble Pie. As the story goes, Peter always had a hard time getting through security of Humble Pie concerts, a running joke with the other boys in the band. Peter’s “Frampton Comes Alive” is considered a watershed moment for rock in the 70s, staying on the charts for 97 weeks selling 35 million copies – unheard of a that time.
Peter has sold out stadiums and venues for over 30 years, proving he’s a real deal for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
