Ed Sheeran’s Duet with Beyoncé “Perfect” is on top of the charts, selling millions of records and causing a real stir. The song, written by Ed, is the 4th single to come from his latest LP, which follows the songs “Castle on the Hill” and “Shape of You,” and “Galway Girl.”
“Perfect” has also hit number one on the Australia, Ireland and New Zealand pop charts as well. The song is Ed’s second chart-topper number tune, while Beyoncé has hit the top more than 10 times in her career.
“Perfect” was the first song Ed wrote for the album, a tune about Cherry Seaborn, a girl he had known in his earlier day, but reconnected in New York. The (divide) album, debuted at number one in the UK, hitting one million in record sales the first two weeks, while generating historical results on the US charts for Ed.
