Pearl Jam Receives Nomination to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

The 2017 nominations for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame have been announced and there are plenty of rockers that made the cut. As always, there are some first time nominees. This year Pearl Jam has made the cut, their first chance at the Hall ever.

This nomination comes not too long after the band’s debut album turned 25. We’re talking about “Ten” and it’s release at the end of August, 1991. The album changed the way many listened to rock during that time.

Do you want to help get Pearl Jam into the Hall? We can do our part to help them get in! If you visit rockhall.com you can vote for who you think deserves to get in. The top five will receive a vote towards the other ballots for the 2017 nomination. Voting begins December 5 and you are allowed to vote just once per day.

Others looking at a chance to get into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame include Jane’s Addiction, Joe Tex, Chic, Tupac Shakur, Yes, MC5, Janet Jackson and Electric Light Orchestra among many others.
