Pearl Jam is touring this summer, call it an ambitious stadium tour, playing in front of the largest crowds in the biggest cities; they’ll be in their hometown of Seattle August 8th and August 10th, in Safeco Field. Here however is the big news this week…
Seattle’s Museum of Pop Culture is paying homage to the cities native sons and favorite pop bands Pearl Jam by opening a special exhibit that is all Pearl Jam, a section dedicated to the band. The special Pearl Jam area opens, August 11th, and will have on display, the history of the band, covering some 28 years of rock and roll. The floor will be populated with Pearl Jam guitars, drums, and props, lyrics, set lists, artwork, props, notebooks and more. Fans will be encouraged to take plenty of photos of various displays, including selfies.
