Paul Simon’s Graceland Album Goes Dance

Paul Simon’s about to retire from touring, but his legacy of being the voice of a generation and hitting the charts forever is getting a boost with the news that his seventh studio album, released in 1986 ‘Graceland’ is getting the ‘Dance’ overhaul. 11 different artists have signed on to remaster and record the track list from the LP, featuring club sensations Groove Armada, Thievery Corporation, and Paul Oakenfold. The updated LP is due to drop June 1st.

The artists assigned various songs; here are a few from the upcoming project; “You Can Call Me Al” will be done by the Groove Armada Dub Redemption, “Graceland” from MK’s KC Lights in a virtual Remix, and “Crazy Love, Vol. II” by Paul Oakenfold in an Extended Remix. The original Pail Simon ‘Graceland’ LP earned ‘Album of the Year’ and title track ‘Graceland’ for two Grammys.
