According to ultimateclassicrock.com, Ozzy Osbourne doesn’t think his lyric on upcoming album, Patient Number 9 will go over well. While speaking with classic Rock Magazine, Ozzy said that he thinks a particular lyric “will cause s***.” The lyric is off of the track, “One of Those Days,” and states, “One of those days that I don’t believe in Jesus.” According to Ozzy himself, “It’s not an ‘I am an anti-Christ’ song, It’s about those days where everything goes f***ing wrong, and you’re going nuts trying to fix everything up.”
Ozzy continued to say that the lyric was enough to get Eric Clapton to urge him to change it, “[Clapton] said, ‘Oh, I’m not sure about that lyric,’ So we tried to replace it with some alternatives.” One of the alternatives was, “One of those days where I don’t believe in Christmas,” Ozzy went on to say that “Losing faith in Jesus makes much more sense when the world is turning to s***.” Patient Number 9 is set for release on September 9th, and features Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Tony Iommi, Mike McCready, and others.
