The story of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s iconic and notorious relationship spanning over decades was recently picked up as an untitled, biopic-style film by Polygram Entertainment. Lee Hall, the writer of Rocketman, will be contributing to the script.
“Our relationship at times was often wild, insane, and dangerous, but it was our undying love that kept us together,” Sharon Osbourne shared in a statement about her excitement to bring their “story to the screen.”
While there is no release date to anticipate quite yet, Black Sabbath and The Osbourne fans can expect the film to be as true to the rock n’ roll pair’s history—dark and light—as possible. As Jack Osbourne, son of the film’s subjects as well as producer of the film, reassures this notion: “We are striving to make it gritty, real. We are certainly going to do our best to do it justice.”
