Although the Grammy’s are not held until January 28th, let’s take an early look at one of the more exciting categories, the ‘Best Country Album.’ This year, the 60th Grammy nominations for ‘Best Country Album,’ of the year are…

‘Cosmic Hallelujah’ by Kenny Chesney debuted number two on the Billboard charts, selling nearly 300,000 copies since its release. The top 10 singles from this album were “Setting the World on Fire,” (#1) and “All the Pretty Girls” in 2017 (#7).

‘Heart Break’ by the wonderful group Lady Antebellum gave their fans the singles “You Look Good,” and “Heart Break.” The LP debuted #4 on the charts.

‘The Breaker’ is the 8th studio album from Little Big Town, generated considerable sales and interest after its release in February of 2017. Their number one song “Better Man,” written by Taylor Swift, earned the CMA ‘Song of the Year.’

‘Life Changes’ released in September of 2017 by Thomas Rhett was a groundbreaking project for Thomas, generating high sales with the singles “Craving You” with Maren Morris, and the “Unforgettable.” This album reached number one on multiple charts during its peak performance,

And ‘From A Room: Volume 1,’ released in May of 2017 by Chris Stapleton debuted in the top five on multiple charts, earning the coveted CMA ‘Album of the Year.’ The singles “Either Way” and “Broken Halos” drove the sales of the LP to more than 600,000 units being sold.
