One of Fleetwood Mac’s Greatest Albums – Rumours

Fleetwood Mac is deservedly in the Rock and Roll Hal of Fame, owns numerous sales and music records, and is considered one of the most influential American bands of all time. Their music has the broadest of appeal, selling over 120 million albums world-wide.

Did you know that ‘Rumours’ was the bands 11th LP, but the second released album with that famous lineup of Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks, sans Peter Green, Jeremy Spencer or Bob Welch.

‘Rumours’ became the iconic selling LP in the emotional midst of each member not speaking to each other. They would each schedule studio time away from each other and lay down their tracks alone. “Don’t Stop” and “Go Your Own Way” came from an album that was rife with anger and discourse.

Fleetwood Mac started as a cast of former members of the John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers band in the late 60s.
